Hyderabad: Amid the Russia-Ukraine war crisis, TSRTC Offers free bus services to the students from Shamshabad airport to their hometown.
Tens of thousands of Indians were stranded in Ukraine, including hundreds of Telugu students. Amid the unrest, the Centre has alerted Indian students and repatriated them by special flights. The Telangana students stranded in Ukraine are being brought back to their hometowns. So far, 15 Telangana students have been evacuated from Ukraine via "Operation Ganga".
However, the Telangana RTC is doing its part for the returnees from the war-torn country. The Telangana RTC (TSRTC) has made a key announcement to provide free rides for Indian nationals returning from Ukraine from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport located in Shamshabad to their hometowns in the state.
It was announced that those who arrive at Hyderabad Airport can travel to their hometown by bus without tickets. Telangana RTC MD VC Sajjanar announced this on Twitter.

VC Sajjanar said that this facility would remain intact until all the Telangana students from Ukraine reach their hometown safely. A unique poster to this effect was tweeted.
