Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is set to undertake a tour of all districts in the state after January 26 eyeing Lok Sabha polls 2024. Reddy, who also serves as the state Congress president, held separate meetings with leaders from Adilabad, Nizamabad, Medak, Mahbubnagar, and Hyderabad districts. During these interactions, he encouraged them to exert maximum effort for the party's success in the upcoming general elections, as per a statement from his office on Monday night.

The inaugural public meeting of Revanth Reddy as part of the party's election campaign is scheduled to take place in Indravelli, Adilabad district. In the past, Reddy had previously addressed a significant public gathering in Indravelli after assuming the role of Telangana PCC president in 2021. This time, it will be his first public meeting in Indravelli since becoming Chief Minister.

In contrast to the former Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao, Revanth Reddy expressed his commitment to being accessible to MLAs starting from January 26, according to the release. The Chief Minister plans to be available to MLAs at the Secretariat three days a week, from 4 pm to 6 pm daily, said a report on PTI.

Reddy urged party leaders to approach the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with increased enthusiasm and dedication.

"CM Revanth has set a target to win more than 12 out of 17 MP seats for the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections in Telangana," it added.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, the Congress secured victory in three seats in Telangana.

The Congress party led by Revanth Reddy in Telangana recorded a resounding win in the recently concluded Assembly elections 2024. With this, Revanth Reddy became the second CM of the state and it was the first time a party other than BRS formed the government in the state ever since its inception in 2014.
