Owaisi Visits Rameshwaram Cafe In Hyderabad, Condemns Bengaluru Blast As 'Act Of Cowardice'

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi condemned the Bangalore blast as a cowardly act and an attack on Indian values.

Following the blast in the Rameshwaram Cafe in Bangalore, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi visited the cafe's Hyderabad branch on Saturday to show solidarity. Owaisi shared several photos from his visit to the cafe on the social media platform 'X'. During his visit to the cafe, AIMIM chief Owaisi also tasted the food there, and praised its deliciousness. He noted that the cafe is named after the birthplace of former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and condemned the Bangalore blast as a cowardly act and an attack on Indian values.

Taking to X, Owaisi stated: "Visited Hyderabad’s Rameshwaram Cafe in solidarity. The food was lovely & it’s very important to remember that the Cafe is named after APJ Abdul Kalam’s birth place.  Rameshwaram Cafe Blast is an act of cowardice and an attack on India’s values."

Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday met with injured people being treated at private hospitals in Bengaluru and asked the doctors attending the blast victims in the Rameshwaram Cafe case to take good care of them. In response, the doctors assured the Chief Minister that there would be no deficiencies in treating the patients. CM also announced that the state government will bear all the costs of medical treatment of the people injured in the blast. 

According to authorities, ten individuals, including both customers and staff members of The Rameshwaram Cafe in Whitefield, Bengaluru, sustained injuries in two low-intensity blasts that took place around 1 pm on Friday.
