Hours after Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) decided to boycott President Draupadi Murmu's address to Parliament ahead of the Budget session, Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy on Tuesday lashed out at the BRS government and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao by saying there's no democracy in the state attributing it to the ruling party.

Stating that BRS will bite the dust in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections, Minister Kishan Reddy asserted that KCR will go to the farmhouse after his party's loss. The BJP MP also said that there's nothing to learn from BRS.

"There is no democracy in Telangana.  A family is ruling there. Corruption is happening there. We don't need to learn anything from BRS. After 3-4 months their game will be over as elections will come and he (KCR) will go to the farmhouse," BJP MP Kishan Reddy said as quoted by news agency ANI.

Earlier ahead of President's Parliament address, BRS MP K Keshava Rao said that the party has decided to boycott the address and he claimed that the party is not against the President but they want to highlight the governance failures in the last eight years.

"BRS and AAP have decided to boycott the President's address to Parliament today. We are not against the President but only want to highlight through democratic protest the governance failures of the NDA govt," ANI said quoting BRS MP K Keshava Rao.
