Former MP and senior Congress leader Madhu Yaskhi Goud has raised objections to the language used by BRS leader KT Rama Rao against Rahul Gandhi. Yaskhi criticized Rao's alleged arrogance and use of unparliamentary language, asserting that neither Rao nor his family played a significant role in the creation of Telangana. Furthermore, Yaskhi accused BRS party leaders, including Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, of engaging in corrupt practices in the state. He expressed his dismay and condemned the use of "inappropriate language" by a minister and someone in a position of responsibility.

According to a report from Telangana Today, Minister KT Rama Rao made remarks on Sunday, stating that Rahul Gandhi lacked knowledge about agricultural matters such as "edlu and vadlu" (bulls and paddy). Rama Rao further claimed that Gandhi's familiarity was limited to "clubs and pubs." He questioned the possibility of an Rs. 1 lakh crore scam occurring in an Rs. 80,000 crore project and announced that resolutions opposing the Congress party's anti-farmer policies would be passed in Rythu Vedhikas (farmer gatherings) across the state on Monday.

Rama Rao also criticized TPCC President A Revanth Reddy for his comments against the 24-hour free power supply initiative, accusing him of spreading misinformation without a thorough understanding of the power supply system. Rama Rao expressed disappointment that senior Congress leaders did not react to Reddy's statements.

Inviting Congress leaders to engage in a debate, Rama Rao suggested that farmers be consulted regarding the power supply situation between 2004 and 2014, compared to the period after 2014. He urged Congress leaders to discuss whether farmers preferred the power supply during the Congress regime or the power supplied under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
