Four persons have been arrested for allegedly issuing fake educational certificates to students and collecting huge sums of money from them in Hyderabad, ANI reported. The racket was busted by the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone team, along with the Nampally Police team on Thursday.






The arrested persons were identified as Mohd Ehteshamuddin Hussain (47), Mohd Altaf Ahmed (43), Mohd Imran (41), and Mohd Abdul Khader (42). Two others involved in the case are absconding.


DCP (central) M Rajesh Chandra said the mastermind of the racket was Ehteshamuddin, who runs Study Affairs International Consultancy at Nampally. The gang was providing fake certificates from various universities to the students. After receiving a tip-off, police raided Ehtesham's office and later caught the remaining gang members.


Zomato Delivery Boy Held For Supplying Ganja 


On Wednesday, Hyderabad police detained a Zomato delivery boy who was selling marijuana and seized 600 grams of it from his possession. The accused, C Nitish Chandra, 20, is the son of a retired RTC driver and a ganja addict, said police. He used to deliver drugs under the instructions of another drug supplier Rahul.


Police identified 30 "consumers" from Nitish's contact list. When asked if he was aware of any other food delivery agents supplying drugs in the city, he said that the delivery boys never share such information as Rahul insisted on maintaining secrecy. The police have decided to make Rahul the main accused in the case based on his confession and have started an operation to find him.
