New Delhi: BRS leader K Kavitha on Thursday reacted to Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's remark about Kavitha's family's influence in the Telangana government, saying "those sitting in glass houses shouldn't throw stones at others".

K Kavitha, who is also the daughter of Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, was responding to Vadra's statement that three of the ministers in Telangana are from the chief minister's family.

"Priyanka Gandhi who is the great-great-granddaughter of Motilal Nehru, great-granddaughter of Jawahar Lal Nehru, granddaughter of Indira Gandhi and daughter of Rajiv Gandhi is talking about family politics," Kavitha told reporters in Armoor.

She added, "This is the funniest thing I have heard in the election campaign. They should not be sitting in glass houses and throw stones at others."

Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are holding rallies and roadshows in the poll-bound state.

Addressing a rally in Mulugu on Wednesday, Gandhi Vadra had slammed the KCR government saying the people of Telangana had dreamt of social justice, but three ministers are from the Chief Minister's family.

BRS Working President KT Rama Rao also hit out at the Congress leader, saying, "Yesterday, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi came to Telangana. They went to Rammappa temple. It is a good thing. After coming back from there, they talked and abused as they wished. Rahul Gandhi comes and says that KCR's rule is dynastic."

"Who is Rahul Gandhi? He is the son of Sonia Gandhi, who is the daughter of Rajiv Gandhi, who is the son of Indira Gandhi, who is the daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru. He is coming here and saying that KCR's rule is dynastic... But they say that KCR's rule is dynastic. How is this Justice?" he added.
