The Enforcement Directorate has summoned two officials of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) in connection with the exam paper leak case. The ED has approached Nampally court, seeking permission to question Praveen Kumar and Rajasekhar Reddy, both suspended employees of the TSPSC who have been arrested, IANS reported.
The two TSPSC employees have been asked to appear before the ED on April 12 and April 13.
The ED moved the court to record the accused's statement under Section 50 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) since there were suspicions of money laundering. The agency submitted to the court that it has the power to take up an investigation under Sections 48 and 49.
Based on news reports, information in the public domain, and early intelligence inputs, the ED has lodged an Enforcement Case Information Report.
The court was told that a four-member team of ED officers will record the statements of the accused.
The ED also sought the court's direction to the Chanchalguda Jail superintendent to allow laptops, printers, and other electronic gadgets into the jail for recording the statements.

The central agency mentioned in its petition that it had written to the Central Crime Station (CCS) on March 23 seeking documents and details of the case. It sought direction from the Hyderabad police to hand over the case details.
The TSPSC on March 15 cancelled the Assistant Engineers (AE) exam held on March 5, following allegations that the question paper had been leaked.
Amid protests by opposition parties and student groups over the alleged question paper leak, the Commission cancelled four examinations it had conducted, including the preliminary exam conducted for recruitment to Group-1 posts in the government departments.
Meanwhile, the SIT has recorded the statements of the TSPSC chairman, secretary, and a member and questioned several candidates who had scored well in the Group 1 exam.
