A notification by Hyderabad police fixing a timeframe to burst firecrackers has attracted a sharp reaction from BJP. On Friday, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police issued orders permitting the bursting of crackers at public places in the Twin Cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad only between 8 PM to 10 PM from November 12 to November 14. Soon, BJP reacted to the circular and accused that there has always been a constant muzzling of Hindu festivals so it's time for change in poll-bound Telangana.
Taking to X, BJP said, “This constant muzzling of Hindu festivals and celebrations is the reason to bring change in Telangana. Be it Congress or BRS they always concentrate on appeasement. Its time for change, it’s time for BJP.”
