Kavitha reportedly termed the allegations "completely baseless". "Today, I want to make it clear that allegations made against me by the BJP and their leaders are completely baseless. Allegations will certainly remain allegations," she said as quoted by IANS.

"I want to say in front of the nation that my leader honourable KCR garu, who is the chief minister of Telangana, has been very vocal and has been very sharp in criticising policies of the BJP government. I believe and the people of Telangana believe that rattled by the allegations made by the CM, the BJP is trying to malign the reputation of our family," she further said.

TRS leader Kavitha claimed that the BJP administration was attempting to silence the opposition by using every investigative agency, the media, and other resources.
