Sridhar Reddy, a close aide of former MLA Harshavardhan Reddy and a prominent leader of the BRS, was murdered by miscreants at his house in Lakshmipalli village of Chinnambavi Mandal, Kolhapur of Telangana. The incident, which occurred at 1 am on Wednesday midnight while Reddy was sleeping outside his house, has sent shockwaves through the region.


Former MLA Harshavardhan Reddy's close aide, Sridhar Reddy, was a bachelor who resided with his elderly parents while his brothers worked in Hyderabad. The motive behind the murder remains unclear, but the party has alleged it to be a politically motivated act orchestrated by the ruling Congress party.


In response to the tragic incident, BRS Working President and former minister KT Rama Rao swiftly left for Kolhapur to extend his condolences and support to Sridhar Reddy's grieving family members in Lakshmipalli village.


Expressing outrage over the murder, former Minister T Harish Rao demanded a thorough investigation into the politically motivated killing and called for stern punishment for the perpetrators, as reported by Telangana Today.


Taking to X, BRS condemned the murder of Sridhar Reddy and alleged that it was politically motivated. A tweet from the official handle of BRS said, "It is the Congress party which has never faced the BRS party politically and started the murderous politics like never before in Telangana.The Congress government does not care about the anarchy and attacks on the leaders of the BRS. If you don't stop this murderous politics, people will teach you a proper lesson."
