The poster war between Telangana's ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) intensified just before MLC K Kavitha's scheduled appearance before Enforcement Directorate for the second time on Thursday. The recent posters showed BJP national general secretary BL Santosh with a ‘wanted’ sign and accused him of 'Talented in MLA Poaching'.
According to ANI, “BRS-BJP poster war: Ahead of ED questioning MLC K Kavitha now posters have come up in Hyderabad. In the posters BL Santosh, BJP National General Secretary has been shown as a criminal & 'Wanted'. Posters were seen at two different places in Hyderabad.”
The posters said, "Wanted BL Santosh. Talent in MLA poaching. Reward sanction of Modi's promise of Rs 15,00,000."
Earlier, BRS also welcomed Union Minister Amit Shah with a controversial poster. The poster with the caption 'Washing powder Nirma' had names of leaders who joined the BJP from other parties in Hyderabad. The BRS used the poster while Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the CISF Raising Day event in the city on March 12.
Meanwhile, BRS MLC K. Kavitha is scheduled to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday in connection with ED's probe into the Delhi Excise Policy scam case. This will be her second appearance before the ED after she was grilled earlier on March 11.
Heavy security has been deployed at the residence of MLC Kavitha at New Delhi.
