Hyderabad: BJP Telangana president Bandi Sanjay on Wednesday reacted to the issue of TRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao trying to form a coalition at the national level against the BJP.
Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Bandi Sanjay said that Chief Minister KCR had resumed planning for the 'Third Front' by meeting Left Front members and other national leaders to save himself from prosecution for his corrupt deals.
Sanjay clarified that the Centre was serious about CM KCR's corruption and irregularities. He said that KCR was aware of the matter and met Opposition leaders to seek sympathy.
"We will not spare Chandrasekhar Rao, we will probe his corruption and send him behind bars. He was involved in ESI and Sahara cases and the CBI is already probing into them," Bandi Sanjay claimed at a public meeting held in Mahabubnagar.
Earlier, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav called on Telangana CM KCR. Tejashwi Yadav, who is the son of former Bihar CM and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, met KCR at the Pragati Bhawan, the official residence of the CM, on Tuesday.
Former Bihar minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui as well as former MPs Sunil Singh and Bhola Yadav were flown in on a special flight to Hyderabad. According to sources, the leaders agreed to laying out a strategy to come together and defeat the BJP.
KCR's son, KT Rama Rao, Telangana's municipal administration and IT minister, and his nephew, Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh, were also present at the meeting.
