Citing law & order issue, Telangana Police on Tuesday detained state BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar in Jangaon District. Hours after Sanjay's arrest, BJP National President JP Nadda condemned the BJP leader's "illegal arrest" by TRS government. Aiming at the upcoming Assembly elections in Telangana, Nadda asserted that the party will fight democratically and ensure that TRS will be wiped out.

"I strongly condemn the illegal arrest of BJP Telangana State President Bandi Sanjay by TRS government. KCR is worried seeing the massive support that BJP is receiving from all corners of the state against his corrupt & family-centric regime," Nadda said, as quoted by news agency ANI.

"We'll fight democratically and ensure that in the coming elections TRS & KCR will be wiped out," the national BJP president added.
