New Delhi: Alphabet-owned video streaming major YouTube is back after suffering an outage worldwide. The company has said that the issues that were causing YouTube to glitch for several thousands of its users globally have been fixed. The company also mentioned that users would be able to log in and switch between accounts while accessing all its services after it fixed the issues.
"All fixed – you should now be able to log in, switch between accounts, and use the account menu & navigation bar across all services (YouTube, YouTube TV, YouTube Music, YouTube Studio) and devices," TeamYouTube tweeted on Wednesday.

Before fixing the issues, YouTube had confirmed the site was experiencing a range of problems that were affecting users globally. The Alphabet-owned company acknowledged the issues after several users took to Twitter to report error messages while they were trying to stream videos. Several users had also pointed out that some elements on the site were not available, including the Setting menu and sidebar navigation among others. Several other YouTube users had also said they could not sign in to their YouTube account or switch between two YouTube accounts.

The company had earlier acknowledged the glitch and wrote on Twitter: "Getting reports from around the 🌎 that some of you are having trouble with certain features across YouTube services (e.g. logging in, switching accounts & using the navigation bar) – we’re aware & working on a fix."
According to outage detection site Downdetector, several users encountered problems while accessing the live television platform YouTube TV. The outage detection site also added that the highest number of problems while accessing YouTube was with the YouTube app at 47 per cent, followed by YouTube website at 42 per cent while another 11 per cent could not stream videos on the platform.
