Since there is a decline in the quality of the video a lot of people resort to other apps to send videos (to avoid this issue). However, you don't need to worry about it anymore. WhatsApp will soon launch a feature that will allow users to choose the video quality
How New Feature Will Work
According to reports, before the video is sent on WhatsApp users will get modes like 'Best Quality Mode', 'Data Saver Mode', and 'Auto Mode'. You can choose any of the modes and it will determine the quality of the video to be shared. The feature is ideal for people who want to share videos via WhatsApp without the loss of visual quality. The arrival of the new WhatsApp feature will give users the option to save data and send high-quality videos.
However, it is not yet known whether there will be any limit to the best quality mode. It is expected that there may be some deterioration in high-res videos like 4K and 8K clips.
Once this update arrives, you will get this option for all the videos. Right now, if you have enabled the data-saving mode and want to send a high-res video, you have to go to the settings and make certain changes. You need to change your video upload option and send it. You can then go back to your original mode.
Currently, this feature is in the development stage. The feature may be introduced with a WhatsApp update in the near future. It might be released for both Android and iPhone users.
