Long-Form Posts On X Hit 3Bn Views Per Day
Elon Musk, boss of X, formerly Twitter, has announced that long-form posts on the platform have hit 3 billion views per day and the numbers are rising. The tech billionaire and SpaceX owner further compared the views of long-form posts on X with all newspaper articles viewed on Earth.
"This is roughly on par with all newspaper article views on Earth," Musk noted.

MeitY Appoints Official To Set Up Data Protection Board
In a recent development, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) made an announcement on September 20, appointing Sanket S Bhondve, an IAS officer currently serving as a joint secretary in the ministry, as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for the establishment of the Data Protection Board under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, as per a report by Moneycontrol.

Homegrown Lava Launches Probuds 22 TWS
Homegrown brand Lava on Thursday refreshed its truly wireless (TWS) segment with the launch of Probuds 22 at a price of Rs 1,399. The Probuds 22 has been unveiled in two colourways: Frost White and Space Black. The TWS buds come with Quad Mic ENC for noise reduction, fast charging, up to 50 hours of playback and water resistance. The buds are compatible with iOS as well as Android and laptops, among other Bluetooth-supported devices.
Boult Launches First Lot of Interchangeable Watch Straps
Homegrown wearables maker Boult on Thursday expanded its portfolio with the launch of interchangeable watch straps. Boult's first range of interchangeable straps is now available and they have been launched in nine unique variants. There are seven 22mm variants and two 44mm options. The company intends to give its users the ability to their smartwatch experience. Boult's 22mm straps are compatible with smartwatches such as Crown R Pro, Crown R, Crown X, Sterling Pro, Rover Ultra, Rover Pro, Rover and Cosmic Striker, among others while the 44mm variant is compatible with Boult Crown, and Boult Dive Evo models.
Tesla Mulling To Build Battery Storage Factory In India
Elon Musk's EV company Tesla is mulling to build a factory for battery storage in India and has submitted a proposal for the same to the government, news agency Reuters has reported. According to the report that cited sources, the EV maker proposed supporting the country's battery storage capabilities with its “Powerwall" during recent meetings. Earlier this month, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal was quoted as saying: "Musk is finally aiming to build a Tesla supply system in India. The electric vehicle major is planning to source automobile parts worth up to $1.9 billion this year from India."
Pixel Phones May Get Battery Cycle Count Feature
Google Pixel phones will soon start showing battery cycle counts, a feature also found in the newly launched Apple iPhone 15 series. The much-useful feature will be rolling out for Pixel users, suggests the Android 14 QPR1 (quarterly platform release) Beta that has been released, says a report by 9to5Google. The feature will hand Pixel owners a feature that Android has been lacking for years. The in-built battery cycle counts are likely to greatly help with the phone's battery lifespan.
PM's WhatsApp Channel Crosses 1.3Mn Followers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's WhatsApp Channel crossed 1.3 million followers, a day after launch. WhatsApp Channels has been launched by Meta as an answer to sibling Instagram's Broadcast. WhatsApp Channels was launched in India and around 150 more countries earlier this month. Both services are aimed at letting people reach a broader set of audience at once. The Channel creator's number remains hidden, without compromising their privacy. Galaxy S23 FE India Launch Imminent
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE's launch in India seems imminent as the device has been listed on the Samsung India support page. The latest render also confirms a triple camera setup at the back. The forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has surfaced on the Google Play Console Database that suggests the device will be unveiled in two variants. The Galaxy S23 FE will be unveiled in a Snapdragon model and an Exynos variant, says a report by My Smart Price. The support page on the Samsung India website has listings for both the Galaxy S23 FE Special Edition model and the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.
