Google Pixel 8 And Pixel 8 Pro Launched
The Google Pixel 8 Pro and Google Pixel 8 have been unveiled and their prices in India and release date have also been announced. The Pixel 8 line has been unveiled at the company's Made by Google event and both the devices are now available for pre-orders in India. The Pixel 8 series will start retailing later this month. Both models will be available on e-commerce platform Flipkart. The Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8 come with camera upgrades, but with old design language.
Netflix May Bring Another Price Hike
Streaming giant Netflix is likely to increase prices of its ad-free subscription service after the continuing Hollywood actors strike ends, the media has reported. According to a report by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), which cited sources familiar with the development, Netflix is mulling to increase the prices in several markets globally, and the US and Canada may be the first regions to witness an increase in subscription costs. It is not known if the price hike will be applicable to Netflix users in India.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Launched
In a global launch event on Wednesday, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, along with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Buds FE. The official Samsung website showcases the phone with an undisclosed chipset. This smartphone is available in a singular storage variant and is set to hit the market later this month, succeeding the Galaxy S21 FE, which made its debut in January 2021 with an Exynos 2100 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery featuring 25W wired fast charging support.
Xiaomi Studios Debuts In India
Xiaomi Studios, the mobile film-making initiative by the handset maker, has debuted in India. Its inaugural production "The Rolling Ball", shot using the flagship Xiaomi 13 Pro in partnership with Dolby and Qualcomm, has premiered. Cricket legend Saurav Ganguly made a special appearance in the film. Through this initiative, Xiaomi is aiming to provide creators with a platform to unleash their inner creativity using its smartphones.

Cab aggregator Uber has introduced Uber Camper -- a limited-edition service for the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan match at the ICC World Cup 2023. Uber Camper will let fans stay for free by winning through a social media competition launched by the company. Uber will announce select lucky winners on October 8.
Dyson Launches First Headphones
Singapore-headquartered Dyson on Wednesday forayed into the wearables category with the launch of its first headphones. The company launched the Dyson Zone headphones in India on October 4 as the first device in its audio lineup. The headphones have been launched for Rs 59,900, which is the same as the Apple AirPods Max. There is a Zone Absolute+ variant with an extra filter and multiple port charger and its price has been set at Rs 64,900. The headphones have been made available for buying via the company website starting October 4.
