Samsung has confirmed it will host its next Galaxy Unpacked event on its home turf in South Korea, for the first time. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. will unveil its next-generation foldable smartphones at Galaxy Unpacked in late July in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, the smartphone major officially announced on Wednesday. The Galaxy Unpacked event will take place at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam, an intersection where Teheran-ro, a hub for domestic innovative startups, and Bongeunsa, a millennial Buddhist temple, converge.

Twitter Blue Will Let Users Edit Tweets Within 1 Hour
Months after launching its long-awaited edit button, Twitter is now increasing the window to edit tweets for Twitter Blue subscribers. Twitter Blue premium users will now have the ability to make changes in the original tweets only, and not replies within one hour of posting instead of the previously allowed 30 minutes.
Elon Musk-owned Twitter made announced on the micro-blogging platform that Blue subscribers will now have up to one hour to edit their tweets.
Apple CEO Tim Cook Uses ChatGPT
During an interview on Good Morning America, Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, expressed his excitement about ChatGPT, an OpenAI chatbot. Cook's remarks come as a surprise since he has been more cautious in discussing artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI in recent times. The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple has limited its employees' access to ChatGPT due to concerns surrounding privacy.
When directly asked about his use of the ChatGPT chatbot, Cook openly acknowledged it and expressed enthusiasm for its unique potential. He highlighted the attention that Apple is giving to AI and indicated the company's commitment of resources to this field. However, Cook also emphasised the importance of approaching AI with careful deliberation, addressing concerns related to bias, misinformation, and the need for regulation.
MediaTek Faces Lawsuit From Rival Realtek
Realtek Semiconductor Corp has filed a lawsuit against MediaTek Inc, a rival Taiwanese chipmaker, in a Northern California federal court. As reported by Reuters, Realtek alleges that MediaTek engaged in a scheme with IPValue Management Inc to disrupt Realtek's business by paying a "secret litigation bounty" to file baseless lawsuits in the United States. The lawsuit claims that MediaTek conspired with IPValue to drive Realtek out of the market and monopolise the industry for chips used in smart televisions and set-top boxes. According to Realtek, MediaTek currently holds nearly 60 per cent of the global market share for television chips.
