Uber Intercity Gets Round Trip Feature In All Cities
Cab aggregator Uber on Monday introduced its newest feature called "Round Trip", for its flagship long-distance service, Intercity. This addition lets Uber passengers book single- or multi-day return trips for outstation travel while retaining the same car and driver throughout the entire duration. Uber users can now reserve outstation round trips for up to five days, enjoying the convenience of having the same vehicle and driver throughout the entire duration. The increased flexibility even permits passengers to make additional stops during their journey. The new Uber feature is live in all cities, and this new feature offers users flexibility and convenience for both business and leisure trips.

The European Union (EU) on Monday initiated formal infringement proceedings against Elon Musk's social media platform X, formerly Twitter, as part of a crackdown on illegal online content. This action by the EU follows the identification of "disinformation" related to the October 7 attacks by a Palestinian terror group on Israel. “Today's opening of formal proceedings against X makes it clear that, with the DSA, the time of big online platforms behaving like they are 'too big to care' has come to an end,” EU commissioner Thierry Breton was quoted as saying.

Apple is said to be gearing up for introducing significant updates to its wearable lineup nest year, with a focus on the Apple AirPods, Watches, and the Vision Pro headset, says Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. While location sharing is a valuable tool for staying connected and ensuring safety, the previous method through Google Maps was somewhat cumbersome. Google is gradually rolling out this feature for Android users through version 4.22.37.586680692 of the Google Contacts app.
