Nord 3 Design Officially Revealed By OnePlus


OnePlus has officially revealed the first look of the OnePlus Nord 3 5G smartphone ahead of its launch. The handset maker has revealed the first look of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 5G, showing off the back panel design of the smartphone ahead of its global unveiling alongside several products including, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r and OnePlus BWZ2 ANC on July 5, 2023. The handset maker has also said that the OnePlus Nord 3 5G will come in two colourways: Tempest Gray and Misty Green. While the OnePlus Nord 3 5G in Tempest Gray has a textured matte finish, projecting strength and permanence, the Misty Green colourway has a glossy and beautiful hand-feel.

Meta Quest+ Subscription Service Launched


Social networking giant Meta has launched its virtual reality (VR) subscription service that would give users access to two new titles each month. The company is calling its VR subscription service Meta Quest+ and has set its subscription cost at $7.99 per month, company CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced. It is compatible with all of the company’s headsets. Meta Quest+ service is available for all owners of Quest 2 and Quest Pro headsets, and the service is forward-compatible with Quest 3. The company's Meta Quest+ service is available in the Meta Quest Store starting Monday (June 26).

Quash Android Antitrust Directives: Google To SC


US tech major Google has urged Supreme Court (SC) to quash antitrust directives against it for abuse of the Android market, citing two sources news agency Reuters said. According to the report, Google has pressed its legal battle against the competition watchdog, the Competition Commission of India (CCI), in one of its most important markets. In October, the CCI said that Google, whose Android mobile operating system powers 97 per cent of 600 million smartphones in India, had exploited its dominant position. It ordered Google to remove restrictions imposed on device makers, including related to the pre-installation of apps, and fined the US firm $163 million, which it paid.

US Congress Limits The Use Of ChatGPT


The latest country to limit the use of AI-powered chatbot ChatGPT is the US as the House has set a limit on the use of ChatGPT by staff, the media has reported. The House has a set of rules around how congressional offices can use OpenAI's chatbot ChatGPT backed by Microsoft. In a memo to House staffers on Monday morning, the chamber's Chief Administrative Officer Catherine L Szpindor wrote that offices are "only authorised" to use the paid ChatGPT Plus, says a report by Axios. The staff is not quthorised to use the free version of ChatGPT, which unlike the $20-per-month subscription version of ChatGPT Plus " does not incorporate important privacy features" that are necessary to protect House data."

Tier II Cities Spend Almost 16 Per Cent Of Their Income On Online Shopping


Indians from Tier II cities and beyond spend an average of 2 hours and 25 minutes per week shopping online, spending approximately 16 per cent of their income, said a new report by market research firm CMR on Tuesday. According to CyberMedia Research (CMR), Tier II cities, including Guwahati, Coimbatore and Lucknow among others, lead in e-commerce time spent shopping, however, among Tier I cities, Bengaluru lead with a maximum of 4 hours and 2 minutes spent weekly on online shopping.
