India is set to celebrate its 75th Republic Day on January 26, marking the historic transition to a republic with the adoption of the constitution on the same day in 1950. President Droupadi Murmu is slated to deliver her annual address on the eve of Republic Day, January 25. The speech, following the precedent of the previous year, is scheduled for broadcast in Hindi and English on all Doordarshan channels and will be aired on All India Radio (AIR) at 7 pm. Additionally, the address will be accessible in regional languages through Doordarshan’s regional channels.
