PM Modi Urges Creators To Participate In 'Create In India' Challenge During His 'Mann Ki Baat' Program

PM Modi during his 114th Mann Ki Baat said, "I especially urge the creators in the country to ensure participation and bring their creativity to the fore."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged Indian creators to participate in 'Create in India' challenge, conducted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The Prime Minister while explaining the need for this said that "the nature of jobs is changing and new sectors are emerging" in the current times.

He emphasised on the change in the nature of jobs and said, "Friends, in these changing times, the nature of jobs is changing and new sectors are emerging... Such as gaming, animation, reel making, film making or poster making. If you can perform well in any of these skills... your talent can get a very big platform... if you are a part of a band or working for a community radio, then there is also a huge opportunity for you."

PM Modi while addressing the 114th episode of the "Mann Ki Baat" radio program, said, "In order to promote your talent and creativity, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has started 25 challenges under the theme, 'Create in India'. You will surely find these challenges interesting. Some challenges even focus on music, education and even on anti-piracy. Indie Game On The Rise

During the 10th-anniversary episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted CityQuest: Shades of Bharat, an educational game created by the E-Gaming Federation. He acknowledged the significant role that the online gaming industry plays in fostering innovation and creating employment opportunities. The Prime Minister also urged citizens to explore and engage with such games, recognising their potential to enhance skills while promoting creativity and growth in the digital sector.

Commenting on this, Anuraag Saxena, CEO of E-Gaming Federation said, “We are thrilled that ‘gaming for good’ is getting attention from the most respected offices. With CityQuest, we hope to educate players about the Vikas journey of Bharatiya cities”.
