Meta-owned Instagram releases new features regularly to enhance the user experience. Instagram is now testing a new feature known as 'AI Studio', it will allow creators to make an AI version of themselves. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on his broadcast channel made the announcement that this feature is currently available to a few creators and users in the US region as an 'early test'. He said that the eligible users may see the AI-version of their favourite creators. He added that they would also be able to see interest-based AI in the coming weeks and “they will primarily show up in messaging for now, and will be clearly labelled as AI.”

The Meta CEO also gave a bunch of examples which featured conversations with AI-powered creator chatbots. While giving the examples, Zuckerberg said that Instagram has worked with creators of the meme account ‘Wasted’ and Don Allen Stevenson III in order to bring early versions of these AI-powered chatbots.

Instagram AI-Version Of Creator Feature Usage & How To Use

These AI chatbots can be quite useful for those creators who have a large number of followers as they will be able to interact with the community with the help of these chatbots. Furthermore, these chatbots will even reply to the messages, that these celebrities get, on their behalf.

The CEO said that creators on Instagram can tap the ‘Message’ button to start a conversation with users. Users will see at the top that the messages are generated by AI and therefore “may be inaccurate or inappropriate.”

The name of the creator will also have an ‘AI’ prefix and a ‘beta’ suffix. He added that Instagram has been closely working with eligible creators to create such chatbots to help these creators answer common questions posed by their followers.
