Google Chrome remains the world’s most popular browser and regularly receives new feature updates. Many iPhone users also rely on Chrome for their browsing needs. Recently, Google introduced new features specifically for Chrome on iOS, including enhancements to Google Lens.
Here's what we we know about the new features that Google is bringing for iOS users.
New Features For Chrome On iOS in Google Lens
Google is all set to roll out a feature for Chrome to iPhone users in the US which will help them find the best prices while shopping. Google in a blog post said, “If Chrome has Shopping Insights for a product that you’re browsing for, once the feature is available on your device you’ll see a 'Good Deal Now' notification right in your address bar.”
iOS users can now clear up storage by saving web content directly to Google Drive or Photos through Chrome. To save a file to Drive, simply select the Google Drive option when downloading. Additionally, Chrome will automatically organise these saved files into a new Drive folder called "Saved from Chrome," making it easy to free up space on your device. Google said, “If you want to save an image from Chrome to Photos, simply long-press the picture and select 'Save in Google Photos' when the context menu pops up.”

iPhone users who use Google Lens can now enhance their visual searches by adding text to their image queries. This feature allows for more detailed and specific searches, providing more tailored and relevant results. For example, you can ask questions about something you see or refine an image search by specifying a color or visual detail you'd like to include in the results.
