New Delhi: Worldwide Zoom users were facing trouble accessing the app for about an hour but now it seems that it is back online. According to the website Down Detector, the Zoom app has been facing issues in India since around 1 PM which affected office meetings to classes.


According to media reports, the worst hit has been Australia.

Zoom was quick to fix the outage for most people in Australia, according to the news.com.au website. According to a Daily Mail report, of those who reported issues, 60 percent said they were having issues joining conferences, while 30 percent had issues starting conferences, about 10 percent said they were having problems logging in. Although, the reason for the outage remains unclear. 






In India, users in Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru seem to be reporting the maximum cases of outage on Zoom, according to the data on Downdetector. Some users said that they could use the app even with a good internet connection. 


According to the Zoom website, they have resolved the issue causing a subset of customers who were experiencing errors while joining a live meeting and will continue to monitor and provide updates as we have them.
