The Xiaomi 14 series, comprising the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro have debuted at an event in China. These phones are the first ones to come with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and Xiaomi's new HyperOS, which replacing MIUI that was around for more than a decade. The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro sport LTPO OLED displays with 2K resolution and a Dynamic 120Hz of refresh rate, alongside Leica-tuned triple rear camera setup. With up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro also offer IP68 water and dust resistance.

The price of Xiaomi 14 starts at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 45,500) for the entry-level configuration sporting 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. There are three additional variants, including 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB, available at CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs 48,900), CNY 4,599 (roughly Rs 52,300), and CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs 56,900), respectively.


The price of the Xiaomi 14 Pro starts at CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs 56,500) for the 12GB/256GB variant. The price increases to CNY 5,499 (roughly Rs 62,000) for the 16GB/512GB model, CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs 68,200) for the 16GB/1TB variant, and CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs 74,000) for the 16GB/1TB variant.


There has been no information on the official release of the Xiaomi 14 series in India as of now. To recall, the Xiaomi 13 Pro was launched in India at a price of Rs 79,999, for the lone 12GB/256GB storage configuration. Globally, the Xiaomi 13 made its debut in February with a price of 999 euros (which is nearly Rs 87,600), but it did not make its way into the Indian market.


Xiaomi 14 comes in four colours: White, Black, Pink, and Green. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 14 Pro comes in three colour options: White, Black, and Green, with an added special Titanium Edition for the Pro model. When it comes to design language, both models share a similar look, reminiscent of the previous-generation Xiaomi 13 series.


The Xiaomi 14 series also has curved edges and features a substantial square-shaped camera module on the rear, maintaining a design continuity from its predecessor.
