Handset maker Xiaomi is set to unveil its next flagship line, the Xiaomi 13 series in China on December 1. Ahead of its official launch, several leaks and rumours have suggested that the Xiaomi 13 series may comprise Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Ultra, with the Xiaomi 13 being the vanilla model. The latter two devices would likely come with premium displays with a bezel-less curved design and a potent camera system that will rival the best in the industry.

The Xiaomi 13 flagship lineup will be among the first lot of devices to feature Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile SoC. Vivo has already launched its X90 Pro+ with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. During the launch of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Qualcomm said that OnePlus, Oppo, Redmi, Asus Republic of Gamers, Honor, Motorola, Nubia, Sharp, Sony Corporation, Xiaomi and ZTE, among others will come with the flagship processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is said to bring better battery life and better performance to the Xiaomi 13 lineup compared to the Xiaomi 12 lineup.
According to tipster Ishan Agarwal, Xiaomi 13 series will be unveiled along with Xiaomi Buds 4 and Xioami Watch S2 in Xiaomi's home turf China on December 1.

A photo leaked by the official AIUV Planet's Weibo account suggests that the front design of the vanilla Xiaomi 13 will have a flat display. Captioned with “protected in our company’s armour casing”, the Xiaomi 13 shown by AIUV Planet here seems to sport a flat AMOLED screen with a centred punch hole on top of the display, housing the device’s single selfie camera, says a report by Gizmo China.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi 13 Pro has been recently spotted in the database of benchmark website Geekbench. Listed with model number 2210132C, the Xiaomi 13 Pro was spotted with an octa-core processor with three efficiency cores clocked at 2.02GHz.
