Meanwhile, Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun made a big announcement ahead of the unveiling of Xiaomi 13 earlier this week. According to Jun, Xiaomi 13's battery life will outpace the new Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max's battery backup, a Weibo post said. The vanilla Xiaomi 13 model is expected to pack in a 4,700mAh battery backed by 120W fast charging, the media has reported.

According to Xiaomi CEO Jun, the handset maker places more emphasis on "battery life than battery capacity". He has also added that Xiaomi’s R&D team is trying to make a device's battery last for up to two days. He has shown test results that highlight Xiaomi 13 scored 1.37 which is higher than the second-placed iPhone 14 Pro Max, with a score of 1.28. Another Xiaomi model on this list was the Xiaomi 12S, which got 1.24 in the test.
