Handset maker Xiaomi is likely to launch a flagship lineup soon and it is apparently the Xiaomi 12S series, which would comprise a base model and a Pro model, suggests a new leak. According to a tipster, the smartphone maker may unveil the Xiaomi 12S model in three storage configurations that could be 8GB + 128GB model, 8GB + 256GB variant and a top-end 12GB + 512GB model.


Xiaomi 12S Pro to arrive in both Snapdragon and MediaTek variants?


Talking about the Xiaomi 12S Pro variant, it could be unveiled in both a Qualcomm Snapdragon and a MediaTek Dimensity chipset version, according to a tweet by leakster Mukul Sharma who goes by the name @stufflistings on Twitter while the Xiaomi 12S Pro with a top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC may arrive in the following configurations: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB storage models. Xiaomi may equip the 12S Pro with 120W fast charging capabilities.


As mentioned above, the Xiaomi 12S Pro will also arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC which may be unveiled in two storage options: one with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage and another with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.


To recall, Xiaomi had unveiled the flagship Xiaomi 12 Pro in India in April in two storage models. The Xiaomi 12 Pro was unveiled in two storage options in India and it comes in three colours: Pink, Blue and Black.
