New Delhi: Handset maker Vivo is set to launch its Vivo T1 Pro 5G and Vivo Vivo T1 44W in India this week. The landing page of the Vivo T1 Pro 5G went live on e-commerce site Flipkart last week. The smartphone OEM has been revealing some of the specifications of the upcoming device via the listing. Launching in India on May 4, the Vivo T1 Pro is confirmed to launch with the Snapdragon 778G chipset. Both the Vivo T1 Pro and T1 44W will be unveiled in India on May 4 at 12 PM. The live stream of the launch event will be available on the company's YouTube channel.


In terms of design language, the Vivo T1 Pro sports a design that is similar to the newly launched iQOO Z6 Pro and it is likely that the Vivo T1 Pro 5G comes as a rebadged version of the iQoo Z6 Pro which is available on Amazon India. The handset will also come with 66W Turbo Flash Charge ultra-fast charging support and according to the company, the charging tech can render 50 per cent of battery life with almost 18 minutes of charging. The device is also supposed to pack a 4,700mAh battery.

In terms of imaging, both the Vivo T1 Pro 5G and Vivo T1 44W will be unveiled with a 64MP Super Night primary camera along with a 117-degree wide-angle sensor and a macro sensor. Other specs of the Vivo T1 Pro include Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12. There could be a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a 16MP selfie shooter for video calls and selfies.

According to previous leaks and rumours, the Vivo T1 Pro 5G could run on Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12. It is expected to feature a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.


Another much-anticipated smartphone, the Pixel 6a is likely to be unveiled at the upcoming Google I/O event that is slated to be held this month. The event is likely to see the launch of the Google Pixel 6a and Pixel Watch. The Google Pixel 6a is likely to sport a 6.2-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Pixel 6a may be powered by a Google Tensor chipset and the storage configuration would be 6GB RAM + 128GB memory.
