Sony has officially unveiled the much awaited PlayStation 5 Pro recently, and it is set to be launched before the global markets on November 27, 2024. The PS5 Pro comes with a price tag of $699.99. The PS5 Pro boasts a 67% more powerful GPU and 28% faster memory than the original, delivering up to 45% quicker rendering for smoother visuals and improved gaming performance. Key upgrades include advanced ray tracing, casting light rays up to three times faster, and the introduction of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), an AI-based upscaling tech that boosts image quality and frame rates. The console supports 8K resolution, Wi-Fi 7, and variable refresh rates to eliminate screen tearing. 


Over 50 launch titles, including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, will be made available as "PS5 Pro Enhanced." Backward compatibility includes over 8,500 PS4 games, with Game Boost mode improving performance.
