Sony LinkBuds S or Sony WF-LS900N was on Monday launched in India. The latest pair of TWS from Sony comes at a price point of Rs 13,990, including a cashback of Rs 3,000. It has been launched in the country in three colourways: Black, White and Beige.
At this price point, the Sony LinkBuds S compete with the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, the JBL Live Pro 2 TWS and the Sennheiser CX Plus TWS earbuds. The Sony LinkBuds S earbuds are made out of recycled materials from automobile parts, Sony has said. Similar to the original and unique-looking Sony LinkBuds released a few weeks ago, the LinkBuds S has been designed to be worn "all day".
Sony LinkBuds S specs, availability and more
The LinkBuds S is the smallest and lightest pair of TWS buds from Sony that promises a full working day of charge -- six hours with noise cancelling on -- from the earbuds and storing another 20 hours in the compact charging case. A five-minute quick charging claims to give you up to 60 minutes of playtime. The Sony LinkBuds S will be available starting November 25 across all Sony Centers, major electronic stores and e-commerce portals in the country.
The LinkBuds S create an immersive sound and authentic reproduction, so users can enjoy music, video, or social media content. With the help of a new 5mm driver unit, these small earbuds pack a punch and stunningly clear vocals. Sony’s Integrated Processor V1 says it improves noise cancelling, enhances sound quality, and reduces distortion with less power for distraction-free listening, perfect for busy commutes. Sony has also added a transparency mode, too, for when users need to be aware of their surroundings.
These Bluetooth earbuds can be paired with two Bluetooth-enabled devices at the same time. The WF-LS900N also support LDAC codec, similar to Sony’s pricier earphones.
