South Korean tech giant Samsung on Wednesday introduced its "Buy Now, Pay Later" option for its flagship smartphones and foldable smartphones, thus, offering prospective buyers an easy buying option on its premium lineup of smartphones. It should be noted that the is available for ICICI Bank Credit Card holders and is available at brick-and-mortar stores across India.


With Samsung Buy Now, Pay Later option, buyers only need to pay 60 per cent of the total amount in 18 equal monthly instalments, with the remaining 40 per cent to be paid in the 19th instalment as a bullet payment. This can be availed by those who have a minimum credit limit of Rs 1.5 lakh. The company is also offering zero down payment and a minimal processing charge of 1 per cent on flagship smartphones namely, the Galaxy S22 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3.


"In addition to ICICI Buy Now, Pay Later offer, consumers purchasing Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G can get Galaxy Watch 4 for Rs 2,999 instead of the launch price. Those buying the Galaxy S22+ 5G or Galaxy S22 5G can get Galaxy Buds 2 for Rs 2,999. Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G, which has a high market share in Rs 100K+ price segment, combines the power of the Galaxy Note series and the iconic S Pen," the company said in a statement.


The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s costs Rs 1,34,999 for the top-end 12GB/1TB storage model while the 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB storage configurations cost Rs 1,09,999 and Rs 1,18,999, respectively, in the country. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is made of a metal frame that creates a mirrored satin effect, courtesy of the glass and haze finish. The Galaxy S22 Ultra's design language has a floating layout and sharp angles, similar to that of the Galaxy Note series.


For photography, the Galaxy S22 Ultra packs in a quad-camera system on the back with a 108MP main sensor, a 12MP sensor, a 10MP sensor and a 10MP periscope-style 10x zoom sensor. Breaking the tradition, for the first time, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has been launched with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset in India.
