Chinese handset maker Realme on Tuesday unveiled a range of IoT products, including two TWS earbuds, a smartwatch, a monitor, and among the lot is the Realme Pad X which is another mid-range Android tablet that has been made available in the country at a starting price of Rs 17,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant. At this price point, the Realme Pad X competes against the recently launched Oppo Pad Air which is available at a price of Rs 15,999 for the 4GB+64GB model.


While it is clear that the Realme Pad X costs more than the competing Oppo Pad Air, here's how both the mid-range Android tabs compare in terms of specs and features. We do a comparison of the Realme Pad X with the Oppo Pad Air and tell you how the two mid-range Android tablets compare.


Display


On paper, the Oppo Pad Air features a 10.36-inch 1200x2000 display with 225 PPI while the Realme Pad X launched today comes with a 10.95-inch 1200x2000 display with 213 PPI which makes the latter's display slightly larger than the Oppo Pad Air's, but also means that Realme Pad Air has a lower pixel density of at a higher price.


Weight


The Realme Pad X has been launched in two variants -- the Realme Pad X 5G model weighs 506 grams while the Wi-Fi variant weighs 499 grams making it heavier than the Oppo Pad Air which weighs 440 grams. In fact, the Oppo Pad Air is 6.94 mm in thickness while the Realme Pad X is thicker at 7.1 mm.


Processor


The Oppo Pad Air was unveiled with Snapdragon 680 while the Realme Pad X has been launched with a Snapdragon 695 which does not justify the starting price of Rs 17,999.
