New Delhi: After suspending the rollout of the Android 12 based One UI 4 update due to bad usability reports and bugs, Samsung has now resumed introducing the stable One UI 4 release for the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 in South Korea. This is unlike the One UI 4 release for the Galaxy S21 series that was smooth and did not have issues.
Following reports of bugs and usability issues, the South Korean tech giant had stopped the rollout and released an update on the beta channel with the fixes. The new and the fourth Andoird 12 based One UI 4 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 has reportedly addressed the major bug issues. There were some reports that suggested the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 went into recovery mode after trying to install the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 update.
The new One UI 4 stable built for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 arrives with build number BUL4. According to a new post on Samsung community forums, the handset major has started to roll out the stable One UI 4 update for the flagship foldable devices in its home turf South Korea. However, the brand is yet to make an official announcement about it.
Last week, the handset maker stopped rolling out the Android 12 based One UI 4 update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 update as early reported encountering major bugs and issues with their devices post the update. After the reports emerged, Samsung decided to stop the update rollout so it could necessary steps to iron out the bugs.
Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, the top-tier flagship from Samsung, is likely to be unveiled by the South Korean giant on February 8, a leak claimed recently. According to famed tipster Ice Universe, the tech major may not officially unveil the Galaxy S22 Ultra until February 8. Images posted by the leakster on Twitter also indicate that the flagship may arrive with an S Pen, similar to ones we have seen in the Galaxy Note series that Samsung has apparently pulled the plug on.
