Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Samsung is gearing up to unveil the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in January 2025. A number of leaks about the upcoming handset have already surfaced online across platforms. Another leak has surfaced now, revealing details about the camera module of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Camera Details 


The SM-S938U, believed to be the US variant of the device, recently appeared on Camera FV-5, revealing key details about its main camera. The camera is expected to feature a 23.2mm equivalent focal length and an f/1.7 aperture, capturing 12.5MP images with a maximum resolution of 4080×3060 px. The sensor is listed as having an area of 71.9 mm².


According to the latest rumors surrounding the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the phone will maintain a 200MP main camera, similar to its predecessor, which combines pixels in a 16-to-1 arrangement, producing 12.5MP images by default. Additionally, the device is likely to include a 50MP (IMX854) telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, a 10MP (IMX754) telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP (Samsung JN3) ultrawide lens. The S25 Ultra is also expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite chipset, a 5,000 mAh battery, and 45W wired charging support.


Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Price & Launch Date (Expected)


Leaks suggest that Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S25 series on January 23, 2025, at its Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, with the devices potentially hitting the market by February 6. There’s growing speculation about the pricing of the Ultra model, particularly after the Galaxy S24 Ultra debuted at $1,299.


The combination of rising material costs and the inclusion of Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip could result in a price increase, although Samsung has yet to confirm any changes to the pricing.
