Samsung Galaxy S25 On Geekbench

The Galaxy S25 series (model number SM-S931N) has surfaced on Geekbench, showcasing an impressive 4.47GHz clock speed and an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset tailored for Galaxy devices.

In performance benchmarks, the device achieved a single-core score of 2,481 and a multi-core score of 8,658. It’s also reported that the series will come with 12GB of RAM and run on Android 15.

While earlier rumours suggested some models might feature Exynos chipsets, recent leaks indicate the series may stick exclusively to Snapdragon processors, following the pattern established with the Galaxy S23 lineup. The Galaxy S24 series featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in certain regions while relying on the Exynos 2400 in others. However, to ensure consistent performance, Samsung might opt for Snapdragon processors across the entire Galaxy S25 lineup globally.

With the S25 series, Samsung aims to push the boundaries of its flagship devices, delivering a powerful and innovative experience.

According to the survey, participants could receive a "10 per cent discount" on the Galaxy S25 series, redeemable on a specific date. If true, this hints that Samsung might be planning an earlier-than-usual release for its upcoming flagship lineup.

Samsung’s release schedule has seen some adjustments recently. The Galaxy S24 series launched on January 17, 2024, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, California, following the February 1 debut of the Galaxy S23 series in 2023. A potential early January launch for the Galaxy S25 could mark a significant shift, giving Samsung a competitive advantage by putting its flagship devices in consumers’ hands even sooner.
