With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series still 4-5 months away, the cases of the upcoming flagship lineup have been leaked that gives us an idea of what the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ would look like. The tech giant was rumoured to be working on upgrading the entire flagship S series of smartphones and not just the Ultra variant as usual.

According to a leakster, in terms of looks, the upcoming flagship Galaxy S23 line's "protective cases" reveal that the rear camera cut-outs of the vanilla S23 has made a departure from its S22 forebear. The latest leak comes from famed tipster Ice Universe and it suggests that in terms of the camera design, Samsung would stick with the "traffic-light" camera module for the Galaxy S23 series.

Universe has shared what looks like protective back cases for the purported Galaxy S23 in two colours.

To recall, a leak in late September suggested that the biggest change that we can see in the design of the vanilla Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ is the adoption of the Galaxy S22 Ultra-like camera module. Speaking of the change in the camera design, the new renders suggest that there's no more a camera island, but similar to the S22 Ultra, each camera is housed in its own round protuberation.

Famed leakster OnLeaks who goes by the name @onleaks on Twitter has also posted 3D CAD-based design renders of the Galaxy S23 in collaboration with Digit. "And now comes your very first and very early look at the vanilla #Samsung #GalaxyS23! (360° video + crispy sharp 5K renders + dimensions) #FutureSquad," OnLeaks had tweeted.

Talking about the expected specs and features of Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+, the selfie camera is still likely to be placed in a centered hole-punch design. The Galaxy S23+ may come with a slightly bigger display than its predecessor.

In terms of internals, the Galaxy S23 is likely to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
