Samsung is gearing up to launch its first smart ring, the Galaxy Ring, in India soon. Originally unveiled in July at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris, where the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 were also introduced, the Galaxy Ring is the company’s debut in wearable smart technology. This cutting-edge device, available in three stylish finishes and nine different sizes, is now up for pre-reservation in India.

The pre-reservation window closes on October 15, suggesting the ring will be available for purchase starting October 16.

How Much Will Samsung Galaxy Ring Cost?

While the final price for the Indian market has yet to be disclosed, the Galaxy Ring retails for $399 (approximately Rs 34,000) in international markets.

Other available smart rings in the market are priced at considerably lower points, such as the Fittr Hart is priced at Rs 15,999 while the Gabit Smart Ring is priced at Rs 13,110.

Available finishes include Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold.

How To Pre-Order Samsung Galaxy Smart Ring?

Indian consumers can pre-reserve the Galaxy Ring through Samsung's official website or leading e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart by paying a refundable amount of Rs 1,999. Samsung is offering several perks to those who opt for pre-reservation, including a Wireless Charger Duo worth Rs. 4,999 and no subscription fees.

Early buyers will also receive a charging case and a data cable along with the ring. Additionally, users who pre-book via the Samsung Shop app can avail themselves of a welcome voucher worth up to Rs 5,000.

In India, the Galaxy Ring will be available in sizes ranging from 5 to 13, just like the global version. Customers can use a sizing kit provided by Samsung to ensure the perfect fit before purchasing.

The Galaxy Ring boasts a lightweight titanium build, a 10ATM water-resistance rating, and IP68 certification, ensuring durability. The smallest size weighs just 2.3g and measures 7mm in width. Samsung claims the ring's battery can last up to seven days on a single charge.

In terms of features, the Galaxy Ring includes Health AI functionalities for tracking sleep stages, heart rate, stress, energy levels, and more. It also supports gesture controls and integrates with Samsung's SmartThings Find for enhanced connectivity.
