Days after quietly introducing the Galaxy A23 5G smartphone, Samsung is now set to unveil its Galaxy A23 5G alongside the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G in Taiwan. The South Korean tech giant has now revealed the specifications and features along of the two 5G smartphones. Both the mid-range smartphones are likely to make their way into India after their launch in Taiwan.


The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G include a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. The smartphone would come with a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor along with two 2MP sensors for depth mapping and macro photography. For selfies, there is a 5MP front that would be housed in a water-drop notch.


Samsung Galaxy A13 5G smartphone would launch in three colours: Black, Blue and White shades at a starting price of NTD 6,99, which roughly translates into Rs 18,500 for the base 4GB/64GB storage model. The 4GB/128GB storage variant of the Galaxy A13 5G would be priced at NTD 7,990, which roughly translates into Rs 21,200.


Other specs of the upcoming Galaxy A13 include a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. There would be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with AI face unlock for security. Other connectivity options include, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port for charging.


The Galaxy A23 5G smartphone on the other hand would come in two storage options: 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB for NTD 8990, which is roughly Rs 23,800 and NTD 9990, which is roughly Rs 26,500, respectively. The phone would come in three colourways: Black, Peach and Blue. 


The Galaxy A23 5G would feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC coupled with a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. In terms of display, the phone would come with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate support. In terms of imaging, there would be a quad-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide sensor and two 2MP sensors.
