Redmi K70 Colours Leaked. Here's Everything You Should Know

Handset maker Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its Redmi K70 smartphone series in its home turf China on November 29 (Wednesday). There are rumours that suggest that the series may be introduced in the Indian market too. But there is no timeline for the expected launch in India. Previosuly, we got a glimpse of the K70 Pro's colour options, and now Xiaomi unveiled the design of the standard K70, showcased in Purple and Blue.

A user named Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) on X, formerly Twitter, posted images of the Redmi K70 in Bamboo Moon Blue and Light Purple. The device is seen with the same camera design as the K70 Pro, with a big rectangular island and three cameras, lined up in a square fashion with LED flash.

The Redmi K70 series will include the Redmi K70, Redmi K70E and Redmi K70 Pro models, rumours say. The brand has been teasing the smartphone specifications on social media and  ahead of the official release, a tipster leaked the pricing and camera details for the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro. As per the leak, both are seen featuring triple rear cameras and 5,000mAh batteries. The Redmi K70 Pro is confirmed to be equipped with Qualcomm's newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

All Redmi K70 series devices are said to be equipped with Xiaomi's new in-house HyperOS operating system, built on Android 14. The Redmi K70 Pro is set to feature a 6.67-inch Huaxing C8 OLED display boasting 2K resolution and a peak brightness of up to 4000 nits. As for the Redmi K70, there are rumors suggesting it will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi has also announced the introduction of its new HyperOS to more smartphone models, including the Xiaomi 12, the Xiaomi 12S, and the Redmi K50 Series, among others.

To recall, last month, the handset maker had unveiled HyperOS, its latest proprietary mobile operating system (OS). HyperOS was introduced at an event alongside Xiaomi 14 series is described as a "human-centric, smart ecosystem for humans, cars, and homes", and has been developed by Xiaomi over a span of seven years. The key objectives of HyperOS revolve around Low-level Refactoring, Cross-End Intelligent Connectivity, Proactive Intelligence, and end-to-end security.

Initially introduced for a limited number of Xiaomi and Redmi devices, including smartphones and tablets, the company has now expanded the release to include more devices. The expanded rollout is scheduled for the upcoming month.
