Handset maker Realme has announced that the Realme GT 6 will be the next addition to its GT series, and it is set to launch soon in India and other global markets. This news comes shortly after the debut of the Realme GT 6T smartphone. Additionally, a key company executive has revealed that the Realme GT 7 Pro will also be introduced in India later this year. The Realme GT 6 is speculated to be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 6, which was recently released in China.


Realme GT 6 India Launch Confirmed


Realme has just confirmed that the Realme GT 6 will be available in India and various international markets soon, though the exact release date remains undisclosed. The device is expected to feature high-end specifications and AI-enhanced functionalities, marketed under the "flagship killer" slogan. The Realme GT 6 is set to join the GT lineup alongside the GT 6T.


Notably, the recent launch of the Realme GT 6T marked the GT series' return to the international market after a two-year break.


There are rumors that the Realme GT 6 will be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 6, which was introduced in China on May 9, priced at CNY 2,099 (approximately Rs. 22,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model.

If the speculations are to be believed, and the Realme GT Neo 6 might be released globally as the Realme GT 6, and the device will likely feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,264x2,780 pixels) LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It might be equipped with a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, offering up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.


Recently, a leaked image of the Realme GT 6 packaging surfaced online, indicating that this could be the first Realme phone to incorporate advanced AI features, which we have seen in the Samsung Galaxy S24 series and Google Pixel 8 lineup.
