The launch of the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ is said to be around the corner and both the phones will be succeeding the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ introduced in China in May last year. Although not officially confirmed, details of these purported handsets are emerging online. Recent leaks include design renders of the Realme 12 Pro models, and now, key specifications of the smartphones have also surfaced. 


According to a report by MySmartPrice, details of the Realme 12 Pro series has surfaced through listings on the TENAA certification site. The Realme 12 Pro, identified by model number RMX3843, is anticipated to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen boasting a resolution of 2,412 x 1,080 pixels. The phone is listed with an octa-core 2.2GHz chipset, speculated to be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, based on previous leaks. Meanwhile, the Realme 12 Pro+, with model number RMX3841, is expected to be powered by an unspecified octa-core 2.4GHz SoC.


Regarding imaging, the Realme 12 Pro is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, along with 32-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors. The front camera is likely to house a 16-megapixel sensor. On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro+ might include a 64-megapixel main camera, accompanied by 50-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors at the back. According to the report, there could be a 32-megapixel sensor on the front.


Design renders of the Realme 12 Pro have also surfaced, revealing centrally positioned hole-punch slots on the leaked images. The back panel showcases a lychee-like leather finish, featuring a central circular camera module reminiscent of previous models. Notably, the arrangement of individual camera units within the module, as seen in the leaked images, bears resemblance to those found in the Realme GT 5 Pro.


With a weight of 190g, the Realme 12 Pro is said to have dimensions of approximately 161.47mm x 74.02mm x 8.75mm. Similarly, the Realme 12 Pro+, expected to weigh 196g, is likely to measure 161.47mm x 74.02mm x 8.75mm. Both models are rumored to feature 5,000mAh batteries and support 5G connectivity.


Meanwhile, The BIS certification site has suggested the existence of Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ with the model numbers RMX3842 and RMX3840, respectively. The Realme 12 Pro+ was recently spotted on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification site with the same model number. According to a GizmoChina report, the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ bearing model numbers RMX3842 and RMX3840, respectively, obtained India's BIS certification on December 8. Notably, the Realme 12 Pro+ with the identical model number had previously surfaced on Indonesia's SDPPI certification platform.
