Poco, the Xiaomi-owned smartphone manufacturer, has officially announced the launch date for its mid-range Poco X6 5G series in India on January 11. Simultaneously, Poco's sister brand Redmi plans to unveil its Redmi Note 13 5G smartphone series at an event on January 4.
As per the rumour mill, the Poco X6 is anticipated to be available in black, blue, and white colour options, offering up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage with a prominent 64 megapixel primary camera. The Poco X6 Pro, expected in black, grey, and yellow, is also likely to feature a 64 megapixel primary camera sensor.
The Poco X6 5G series comprises two variants: the standard Poco X6 5G and the slightly more expensive Poco X6 Pro 5G. Speculations suggest that the Poco X6 might be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, while the Poco X6 Pro could be a rebranded Redmi K70e, according to reports from Gizmochina.

The anticipated features of the Poco X6 include a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5k resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, the device may boast a triple camera setup with a 64 megapixel primary sensor, a 13 megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2 megapixel additional sensor.

Recent reports indicate that the Poco X6 Pro 5G has surfaced on certification websites such as NBTC, BIS, and FCC, hinting at a global launch, including India, by the end of January. The mid-range smartphone is expected to bring advanced features and performance to the Indian market.
