Poco is said to be in the works for its 2024 F-series smartphone, with expectations pointing to a launch sometime in May of this year. The device, rumoured to be named Poco F6, is anticipated to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3, a model yet to be released in China. Poco India has not officially confirmed any details regarding this phone so far. However, given the yearly trend of such rebrandings, it wouldn't be surprising if Xiaomi continued this tradition this year as well.

Considering the timeline of the Poco F5 launch, one might expect the Poco F6 to also debut in India around May. Nonetheless, there haven't been any official announcements regarding the phone or its launch schedule yet. Ahead of the expected launch, various specifications about the Poco F6 have surfaced, including details about its camera, chipset, and battery.

Poco F6: Price In India (Expected)

There is no official detail about the pricing of Poco F6 yet. There is no solid leak suggesting the pricing of the smartphone either. However, if it is to be judged based on the pricing of the Poco F5, then we can get a possible ballpark figure.

Poco introduced the Poco F5 5G smartphone to the Indian market in May 2023, offering two variants: one with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for Rs 23,999, and another with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage priced at Rs 29,999. It's reasonable to anticipate that the upcoming Poco F6 will follow a similar pricing strategy, likely falling under the Rs 30,000 mark.

Poco F6: Specifications (Expected)

According to reports, the Poco F6 is set to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Xiaomi has officially announced its upcoming launch of the Redmi Turbo 3, the first Redmi phone to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, in China. Leaks and certification listings suggest that the Redmi Turbo 3 is slated for release in China on April 10.

Additionally, the Poco F6 is anticipated to come with a 1220p display, a sizable 5,000 mAh battery, and support for 90W wired charging. Speculations also indicate that the smartphone will feature a dual-camera system. The primary camera is expected to utilize the Sony IMX882 sensor, boasting a 50-megapixel resolution, while the secondary camera will likely be an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens equipped with the Sony IMX 355 sensor. For selfie enthusiasts, the Poco F6 is rumoured to house a 20-megapixel OV20B sensor from OmniVision.
