Google Pixel Watch is going to be officially unveiled on October 6 and the company has confirmed that its first smartwatch would arrive with a matte black finish in select countries. Google Pixel Watch would be announced alongside the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro at the company's "Made by Google" event.
However, further details of the upcoming Pixel Watch have not been revealed since Google's annual I/O conference where it had mentioned that the Pixel Watch would arrive in three colour variants: black, gold and silver. According to a new report, Google Taiwan has revealed that there would be a darker variant of the Pixel Watch which could sport a matte black stainless case.
The tech giant is likely to unveil the Pixel Watch in three variants: it would include one Bluetooth and Wi-Fi model and other two LTE-supported variants. The Google Pixel Watch is likely to come with a Samsung's Exynos 9110 chipset and also support 1.5GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. In terms of battery specifications, the capacity of the Google Pixel Watch is not known yet.
Some reports suggest that the Pixel Watch may come with a single-day battery backup and support a USB type-C charging cable.
Meanwhile, out of the two Pixel 7 series smartphones, the Google Pixel 7 Pro is said to be different from its predecessor Pixel 6 Pro in terms of display brightness. According to previously leaked codes, the display panel on the Pixel 7 Pro will be brighter than the Pixel 6 Pro. As per the source code that is part of Android 13 betas, the Google Pixel 7 Pro will let users set the display brightness to 600 nits in manual mode, which is 100 nits higher than what the previous-gen Pixel 6 Pro offered.
The tech giant also mentioned that its new chipset that powers the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro won't be called Tensor 2, but it would instead be called Tensor G2 chip. Google had earlier mentioned that the smaller Pixel 7 would feature a dual-camera module while the bigger Pixel 7 Pro would feature a triple-camera setup at the back.
The Google Pixel 7 Pro model will use a Samsung S6E3HC4 display with a 3120 x 1440 resolution while the Pixel 6 Pro featured a Samsung S6E3HC3 display.
