Several users of the newly-launched Google Pixel 7 Pro have been hit by the scrolling issues. Scrolling and display behaviour has been very inconsistent on the Pixel 7 Pro model, the media has reported. Buyers of Pixel 7 Pro took to Reddit to share the screen issues that they are encountering and some of them have described that scrolling on the Pixel 7 Pro feels inconsistent.

"I upgraded from Pixel 3XL. Unfortunately, Screen is a disappointment on the Pixel 7 Pro. Turn off "Smooth display" It helped me to avoid the jittery screen. Curved screen is just a bad idea. Curve is very minimal however still dysfunctional and adds zero benefit," a Pixel 7 Pro user posted on Reddit thread that read: Pixel 7 flick scrolling is sticky and broken; keyboard fumbles greatly increased; touchscreen disappointing.

Sometimes, you’ll end up flinging through a lot more space a lot faster than expected, while other times, you’ll barely move further ahead than where your thumb takes you, according to a report in Android Police. The Reddit posts on Pixel 7 Pro issues were joined by many others who described facing problems with the Pro model.

The report noted that the editors at Android Police can corroborate the Pixel 7 Pro issues and two of our editors noticed erratic scrolling behaviour on their models. It’s hard to put the finger on what exactly is going on here, the report added.

In India, the Pixel 7 Pro has been priced at Rs 84,999 in three colour options: Obsidian, Hazel and Snow. Both the Pixel 7 series phones will be available on e-commerce platform Flipkart, the company had said during launch.

As reported earlier, the Google Pixel 7 Pro runs the latest Android 13 OS and is powered by the same Tensor G2 SoC that powers the vanilla Pixel 7 model. The device sports 12GB of RAM. The Pixel 7 Pro sports a 50MP primary sensor coupled with a 12MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 48MP telephoto lens. For selfies, there is a 10.8MP selfie camera. The display is a 6.7-inch Quad-HD (3,120 x 1,440 pixels) LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
