New Delhi: Handset maker Oppo is set to officially launch its Oppo Reno 7 lineup which will be a camera-centric series featuring Sony sensors. Now, we have learnt that the company will also unveil its Oppo Watch Free in the country alongside the Reno 7 lineup during the same event. Oppo announced the launch of the Oppo Watch Free on its official Twitter handle.
"From your daily schedule to following a healthy routine, plan anything and everything with #OPPOWatchFree. Designed to perfection, it ensures a seamless experience like never before. Launching on 4th Feb!," Oppo India has tweeted from its official handle.
The Oppo Watch Free was originally unveiled in the company's home turf in China in September 2021 and was made available in a few other international markets. The Oppo Watch Free is essentially a fitness tracker guised as a smartwatch. The Oppo Watch Free also sports over 100 sports modes and features include a blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitor and heart rate monitor which have become a must for all smart wearables. Talking about health tracking features, the Oppo Watch Free sports snoring monitoring, daily activity, sedentary reminders and sleep monitoring abilities. The device also has 100 watch faces.
The Oppo Watch Free was originally unveiled in China for CNY 549 and the NFC variant is priced at CNY 599 which roughly translates into Rs 6,800. It was launched in two colour options: Quick Sand Gold and Silent Night Black colours and it is quite likely that it is launched in the same colour options in India too. The Oppo Watch Free also comes with a 1.64-inch AMOLED touchscreen with DCI-P3 colour gamut, 326ppi pixel density and a layer of 2.5D curved glass and looks similar to the Huawei Band with a long rectangular screen.
