Oppo officially announced on Weibo that the Oppo Reno 12 series is set to debut in China on May 23 at 4:00 PM local time (1:30 PM IST). Teasers indicate a 'silver' appearance, hinting at silver finishes for the handsets. Additionally, the company has also unveiled the rear panel design of the upcoming phones.

Several reports suggest that the Oppo Reno 12 5G might be fueled by the recently unveiled MediaTek Dimensity 8250 chipset, also known as the Dimensity 8200 Star Speed Edition. This octa-core processor, manufactured on a 4nm TSMC process, promises exceptional performance, featuring a setup that includes a prime Arm Cortex A78 core clocked at 3.1GHz, three Arm Cortex A78 performance cores operating at 3.0GHz, and four Arm Cortex A55 efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz.

For photography enthusiasts, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G may be an enticing option, with rumors pointing to a sophisticated camera arrangement.
